U.S. government properties must comply with section 889 of the 2019 NDAA, if having video surveillance equipment installed. Video surveillance equipment cannot have the following components constructed by any of these companies:
- Huawei Technologies Company
- ZTE Corporation
- Hytera Communications Corporation
- Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company
- Dahua Technology Company
